[August 10, 2009] NEW THREE YEAR DEAL AT Q104

Allan Fee has signed a new three year deal at WQAL/Cleveland to continue as host of "THE WILDE AND FEE SHOW" weekday mornings from 5:30-10am.

Fee, who has been with the CBS owned station for nearly nine years (over 5 as morning host), says he is "thrilled to sign the deal and continue to build on our recent ratings success".

In morning drive, WILDE AND FEE hit number one with the 25-49 year old female demographic in the latest SPRING Arbitron ratings period.

"The success of our show has been based on the chemistry between Rebecca Wilde, Glenn Anderson and Producer Nick Smalc. Each of us has a role to play and it has been connecting with the audience."

Fee said, "CBS Senior VP Chris Maduri and Program Director Dave "SKIPPY" Popovich have been more than supportive and they give us the opportunity to do the kind of show that we want to do. Everyone involved in our show is on the same page."

[June 18, 2009] Rob Thomas plays for Q104 listeners!

"ROB THOMAS played an exclusive private performance for about 60 Q104 listeners on Wednesday ( 5-16-09).

He played four of his hit songs including "3am", "Lonely No More", "Ever The Same" and his current smash single "Her Diamonds".

Allan Fee and Rebecca Wilde hosted the Q&A session between songs. Thomas is on a promo tour promoting his new album "Cradle Song". He plans to tour this Fall.

[June 17, 2009] NHSA ANNOUNCES FALL '09 SOCCER!

The Nordonia Hills Soccer Association has announced dates for The Fall Soccer Season. The NHSA's 5th season begins Thursday, September 10th and runs thru Saturday, October 24th.

The NHSA is a youth soccer league for players 4-10 years old and also offers Travel Soccer for The Nordonia Hills area. Last season, The NHSA fielded 5 different Travel Soccer teams including U-9 and U-10 Boys and U-10, U-12 and U-14 Girls teams. The NHSA has increased its number of players four seasons in a row and expects to set another record during the Fall Soccer season.

"Without question, we are growing soccer in Nordonia Hills", league President Allan Fee said. "We are thrilled at the number of players in the league and excited for the upcoming Fall Season."

This summer, The NHSA is offering free soccer with its "Summer of Soccer" every Thursday night at Smith Park on Houghton Road in Northfield, Ohio.  Past, current and future NHSA players are invited to a FREE night of soccer from 6:30-8pm.  The "SOS" program is new this season and is intended to be an informal game day every Thursday evening.  Players of all ages will be encouraged to play "pick-up" games and will enjoy other soccer-related events.  "The SOS program offers kids in the area playing time over the summer break and will help them prepare for the Fall season in a comfortable and fun environment. We believe that the more kids play soccer, the better they will play and learn the game" Fee said.

Fee who co-hosted with ANDREA VECCHIO, talked to KOSAR about the recent NFL draft and to CARR about the CAVS chances at winning The NBA Championship.

[March 30, 2009] FEE TO HOST "ROCK THE PUZZLE" AT HOUSE OF BLUES THIS FRIDAY

Allan Fee and GOOD COMPANY host Andrea Vecchio will co-host "ROCK THE PUZZLE" this Friday night at The Cleveland House Of Blues. The fundraiser to fight autism will feature Stan Miller, Blues DeVille, Nick Zuber, Second Place and Breakfast Club. The event will also include several giveaways and an auction featuring rock 'n roll based items.

"This is an exciting event and a great night of music in the perfect venue" Fee said. "Autism effects 1 in every 150 kids. This is a special event helping a very important cause. The people who are putting on "Rock The Puzzle" are passionate about their message and know how to put on a great party".

Box office mega-star WILL SMITH stopped by Q104 Thursday (11/20) to promote his new movie "SEVEN POUNDS". He arrived in a bus bearing his name in giant letters and a security detail. Smith talked to WILDE AND FEE for several minutes about his life, movies and giving back. He later attended a red-carpet premeire of the movie at Cinemark Valley View along with Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James.

[February 23, 2009] FEE EXTRA IN SUPERBOWL COMMERCIAL

STATE FARM INSURANCE filmed a SUPERBOWL commercial at BROWNS STADIUM Saturday afternoon (12/13). The commercial features LEBRON JAMES as a BROWNS player scoring a touchdown as a receiver. ALLAN FEE, along with about 100 BROWNS BACKERS were extras in THE DAWG POUND. Filming lasted over 10 hours at The Stadium with temps in the low 20's. A stand-in played the role of LEBRON JAMES who was in Atlanta with The CAVS. The commercial is expected to air during THE SUPERBOWL in February.

[February 23, 2009] THE NHSA COMPLETES THIRD SEASON

The NORDONIA HILLS SOCCER ASSOCIATION concluded its third season on Saturday (10/25) with a banquet and awards presentation at NORTHFIELD PARK. The league grew to a record-high 220 players this fall. Over 600 people attended Saturday's end-of-season event. The NHSA has expanded this season by adding travel soccer for u-10 boys and girls and u-12 girls. Travel soccer play begins Spring 2009. "We are thrilled at how much the community has embraced the NHSA" league President ALLAN FEE said, "We are exceeding our goals for the league in every way!" The NHSA was formed in the Fall of 2008 by Fee and league Vice President TOM SEASHOLTZ. In that first season, 168 players joined the league.
